A breath of freshness
This pocket has an improved, more efficient cooling system. First of all, the new aluminum housing dissipates heat and is also very durable. In comparison to the previous model, the fan was enlarged from 3 cm to 4 cm. The higher efficiency of the fan, by as much as 70%, ensures lower revs and therefore quieter operation as well as longer life.
Hard drives and speeds
The pocket is mounted to a standard 5.25" jack and can accommodate a 3.5" SATA hard drive. However, the maximum disk height should not exceed one inch (1 "). Data can be transmitted at up to 6 Gb/s using the NSS (Non Scratch SATA) connection (SATA I, II, III).
High quality and improvements
The housing is made entirely of aluminum, which ensures a better flow of cooling air. The built-in fan is bigger than its predecessor - from 3 cm to 4 cm, that's why ventilation is 70% more effective and the fan allows for quieter operation. In addition, the use of rubber inside the pocket, reduces vibration and ensures sound attenuation.
Data safety
The hard disk can be comfortably replaced with the help of Hot Swap and Plug & Play. The key lock ensures that unauthorized persons do not have access to the drive. The LED simultaneously informs about power supply and access to the disk (read/write).
