This hard disc has SATAIII connection. SATAIII, or SATA 6GB/s is the latest generation data transmission connection found in the most modern computers for ensuring sufficient SSD discs data flow exceeding the SATAII possibilities. The speed of the cache memory of hard discs can sometimes exceed also the SATAII passage possibilities because in essence this cache memory is a small size SDD disc (~64 Mb). Therefore, when the relevant port is available on the motherboard it is advisable to select the SATAIII disc.
